Engagement Session in Detroit

While it was cooler than we would have preferred for this spring time engagement session, (though, at least it wasn't snowing like it was a few days later!), the flowers and sunshine pulled through for this beautiful couple! The combination of an overcast evening, with the sun breaking out right as we worked our way to the rooftop, gives these photos a beautiful blend of moody and sunny settings. We walked around on street level getting some photos in a beautiful flowering space, and in an alley way, and on our elevator ride to the top of the parking structure, the sun decided to peek out through the clouds and give us a stunning sunset! Genna & Jon were a fun and easy going couple! You can see the love they share in their genuine smiles, the way they laugh together, and the look of peace they both have when they hold each other close. It was such an honor to capture this moment of their story together. After spending time with them and getting to know them even better, I can't wait to work with them at their September wedding!
